Nancy S. Arbree DDS, MS Prosthodontics, Implant Prosthodontics

Dr. Arbree graduated from Georgetown University School of Dentistry in 1977 and then completed a General Practice Residency at the Veterans Administration Medical Center in Gainesville, FL. From 1978-1981, she attended the Prosthodontic and Maxillofacial Prosthetic program at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center in New York City. She moved to Boston and in 1981 became an Assistant Professor in the Department of Complete Dentures at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine and eventually became the Director of Clinical Complete Dentures. She currently is a professor in the Department of Prosthodontics and Operative Dentistry and has been the Associate Dean of Academic Affairs since 1996. In 1990, Dr. Arbree received a Masters Degree of Dental Science in Research from Tufts University and is a Fellow in the American College of Prosthodontists where she served as national President in 2004.
She is also a member of the Academy of Osseointegration, the American Association of Dental Educators, the American Dental Association and the Greater New York Academy of Prosthodontics, where she served as President in 2008. Dr. Arbree practices her specialty of Prosthodontics at The Dental Group at Post Office Square.
Steven N. Cohen, D.M.D.

Dr. Cohen graduated from the University of Pennsylvania School Of Dental Medicine in 1971. He was a General Dentist Resident in the United States Army Dental Corps from 1971 to 1973. Following his time in the Army, Dr. Cohen entered Academic Dentistry and achieved the position of Associate Professor in the Department of Restorative Dentistry at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in 1980. As a partner at The Dental Group at Post Office Square, he has been practicing adult restorative dentistry at the office since its inception in 1980. In 2010, Dr. Cohen achieved Life Membership status by the American Dental Association.
Nicholas M. Dello Russo, D.M.D., M.Sc.D.

Dr. Dello Russo graduated from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine where he won the Tufts Dental Alumni Award for Periodontology. He completed his specialty training in Periodontology at Boston University School of Graduate Dentistry. His Masters Degree thesis involved using a scanning electron microscope to study inflammatory changes in human secular epithelium. Dr. Dello Russo is on the faculty of Harvard University School of Dental Medicine and is attending at the Massachusetts General Hospital in the Mass General Dental Group, Division of Dentistry. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology and a Fellow of the International College of Dentists. Dr. Dello Russo practices Periodontics and Implantology at The Dental Group at Post Office Square.
Norman J. Hammer, M.S., D.D.S.

As a partner at the office, Dr. Hammer has maintained a clinical practice at The Dental Group at Post Office Square since 1990. Dr. Hammer received his dental degree from New York University in 1980. He completed a General Practice Residency followed by a two-year Prosthodontic Residency at the Veterans Administration Medical Center in Buffalo, NY. His first university academic appointment, in 1982, was at the University of Buffalo School of Dental Medicine and in 1983 he moved to Boston to continue his teaching career with an academic appointment at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. Dr. Hammer is a member of the American Dental Association and the Massachusetts Dental Society. In addition, he is a member of the American College of Prosthodontists and a Fellow of both the Greater New York Academy of Prosthodontics and the American College of Dentists. Dr. Hammer has a 27-year history in academic dentistry and has also lectured extensively in the United States and abroad.
Gary S. Rogoff, D.D.S., M.S.

Dr. Rogoff is Chief of Prosthodontics and Director of the Prosthodontic Residency Program at Montefiore Medical Center. He is a native New Yorker and received his DDS from New York University College of Dentistry in 1971. He received his Certificate of Advanced Training in Prosthodontics from the Eastman Dental Center in Rochester, NY, in 1974, and his Master of Science degree (MS) in Basic Medical Sciences from the University of Rochester Graduate School of Medicine and Dentistry in 1980. His first university academic appointment, in 1974, was to the faculty of The University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry. In 1978 he moved to Boston and continued his teaching career with academic appointments at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine, the Forsyth Dental Institute and the Harvard School of Dental Medicine. He also maintained a private practice limited to Prosthodontics, part-time, throughout this entire period. In July of 2007, Dr. Rogoff returned to New York City to join the Department of Dentistry at the Montefiore Medical Center.

Dr. Rozen is an Associate Clinical Professor of Endodontics at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. He attended the University of Illinois, received a DDS from Loyola and a Certificate in Endodontics from Boston University in 1970. He is certified by the American Board of Endodontics and practices his endodontic specialty at The Dental Group at Post Office Square.
David A. Russell, D.M.D., M.P.H.

Dr. Russell received his dental degree from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine and his Public Health degree from Tufts University School of Medicine. He attended a General Practice Residency at Overlook Hospital, a Columbia Hospital teaching affiliate. Dr. Russell is the former Associate Dean for Clinics at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine, is currently an Associate Clinical Professor of Prosthodontics and Operative Dentistry, is the Course Director for Oral Diagnosis and Treatment Planning and lectures extensively on risk management issues. Dr. Russell is a past Robert Wood Johnson Health Policy Fellow and was a member of the Massachusetts Board of Registration in Dentistry from 2002-2007. He is also a Captain and an examiner with the Northeast Region Board of Dental Examiners and is a member of the American College of Dentists, the International College of Dentistry, the Pierre Fauchard Academy, Omicron Kappa Upsilon, the American Dental Association and the Massachusetts Dental Society. Dr. Russell practices General Dentistry at The Dental Group at Post Office Square and makes downtown Boston his home.
Anthony R. Silvestri, Jr., D.M.D.

Dr. Silvestri graduated from the College of Dentistry of New Jersey in 1972. In 1975, he became a full-time instructor in the Department of Restorative Dentistry at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine where he currently holds the position of Clinical Professor. Dr. Silvestri is the author of numerous scholarly and peer-reviewed publications for his research involving wisdom teeth and is quoted in internationally recognized media such as National Geographic magazine, The New York Times and The Discovery Channel. In 1980, Dr. Silvestri joined The Dental Group at Post Office Square as a partner where he practices adult restorative dentistry.

Dr. Suri graduated from Maulana Azad Medical College in New Delhi, India in 1997. He then moved to Boston and graduated from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in 2001 and received his Certificate in Orthodontics in 2003. Dr. Suri was appointed to an academic position at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in 2001 and has been an Associate Professor in the Department of Orthodontics since 2003. He provides instruction to Post-doctoral Orthodontic Residents in the Graduate Orthodontic Clinic and is also the Course Director for the Pre-doctoral Orthodontic Curriculum. Dr. Suri joined The Dental Group at Post Office Square in 2005 where he practices adult and pediatric orthodontics.
Thomas J. Vergo, Jr., D.D.S.

Dr. Vergo graduated from the School of Dental Medicine at the University of Buffalo in 1971. He completed a Dental Internship at the Veterans Administration Medical Center, Buffalo, NY in 1972, followed by a year as a Staff Dentist. In 1975, he completed his Prosthodontic Residency, receiving certificates from the School of Dental Medicine at the University of Buffalo and the Veterans Administration Medical Center. Additionally, he completed a Maxillofacial Prosthetic Residency program at Roswell Park Memorial Cancer Institute in Buffalo, N.Y. In 1976, he accepted a full-time faculty position at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in the Department of Prosthodontics and Operative Dentistry and in January 2004, Dr. Vergo retired from Tufts as a Professor Emeritus. Dr. Vergo is presently a member of the American College of Prosthodontics, the Academy of Prosthodontics, the American Academy of Maxillofacial Prosthetics (Past President), the International Society of Maxillofacial Rehabilitation, the American College of Dentists and the Greater New York Academy of Prosthodontics. Dr. Vergo has been practicing Maxillofacial Prosthodontics at The Dental Group at Post Office Square since 1998.
